THE PROBLEM AND THE SOLUTION

Typical restaurant design involves a fragmented system when the MEP makes equipment selections, HVAC company does the AC portion, separate company does kitchen vent hood work, and there is often no commissioning or true service post-installation.

The end user is often left with a product where the MEP, HVAC contractor, and Vent Hood Contractor are pointing fingers at each other while the end user has to deal with frustration and uncomfortable environment.

The correct approach is to coordinate correct design that end user finds valuable, and then to implement that design during installation, commissioning, and the post installation service.

The restaurant HVAC and Vent Hood systems are not something that can easily be changed or adjusted after the initial installation. Changing HVAC and Vent Hood systems after the fact in incredibly disruptive and expensive. Vent Hood problems do not simply go away, and they are constantly present regardless of the season.

SyncVent is uniquely positioned to bridge these gaps and work with your architect and MEP to help select the most valuable equipment, incorporate that equipment in the simplest and least expensive way given your building conditions, and then follow through with correct installation and job-site coordination between different trades.
